Here at the Arkansas Festival and Events Association, we know our rebound from the pandemic years has been a little slow. Like you, we all work in hospitality and events in Arkansas and had to put our focus there first. But, now we’re back and we have some work to do in rebuilding your trust as a support organization. Here is a peek into what’s happening behind the curtain.
First and foremost, we’re doing our homework to find out what benefits and educational opportunities other events and festival associations in North America are offering their members. We have to learn to grow and we want you to grow with us.
It’s important that we gather as an industry and learn from one another. We’re exploring what a 2024 conference will look like and hope to have that information to you soon.
Website & Education
We’re working to build ARFEA.org into a knowledgebase of resources you can utilize to keep abreast of industry trends and to use as a training tool for the young professionals who are stepping into live events at a rapid pace.
Love it or hate it, we all rely on social media to spread the word! We’re getting reconnected so we can share what you need us to share. We would love to do some “member takeover” events where you, our members, run our ARFEA Instagram for a day or a week during your events and festivals.
We are responsible for bringing Arkansas together all over the state, but how often do we take time to gather? We want us to get to know one another beyond the annual conference and gather at regional networking events.
We’re going to launch a quarterly email newsletter to keep us connected and in-the-know about live events in Arkansas. You can help us out by making sure all of your events are on the ARFEA calendar.
